Hello Band Family
I want to get an important schedule revision out to you more than seven days in advance, early so that you can adjust and plan:
WE WILL NOT HAVE REHEARSAL NEXT FRIDAY, AUGUST 9TH. I WOULD LIKE TO START A LITTLE EARLIER ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 8TH. Rehearsal will be 1-5pm. Kids will then be released to attend the DCI quarterfinals broadcast at the theater as planned. I will post a reminder in the MMN Sunday.
Rehearsals have been incredible, the band is off to a great start. I think this is a great way to give the kids a 3-day weekend as a reward for all of the hard work that has been done so far this summer. We will get right after it the following Tuesday with the beginning of our regular season rehearsal schedule. I am SO excited about the 2019MMB!
To recap: The revised Band Camp schedule for next week will be 2:30-9pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 1:00-5pm Thursday, OFF on Friday.
