Internationally known Drum & Bugle Corps, Boston Crusaders, are hosting a Live Learning Event at Lakewood Ranch High School in Bradenton, Florida on May 7, 2011. The Crusaders are inviting students of all ages and talents to spend the day in improving their  woodwind, brass, percussion, and colorguard skills.

ALL ARE WELCOME to participate. Students will be instructed with the Crusader members and staff during the course of the day.

Come and join the Crusaders in experiencing a day of learning how to perfect marching and playing segments for a performance that evening. See what it takes to be part of an elite Drum & Bugle Corps in this marching clinic.

Tentative Schedule for Saturday, May 7, 2011 is:
8:00am – 9:00am - Registration
9:15 am - Welcome
9:15 am – 12:30pm - Sectionals with Crusaders staff and members.
12:30pm – 1:30pm – Lunch with corps
1:30pm – 4:00pm - Afternoon block – mix of sectionals and observation time
4:15pm – 5:30pm - Dress Rehearsal
5:30pm – 6:30pm - Snack and prep for performance
6:45pm – 8pm - Performance

Student fees for the Live Learning Event are $35 for the entire day.

The fee includes lunch and a snack with the corps, all day instruction and performance, and a commemorative tee shirt.  Students should bring their own equipment and comfortable exercise clothes.
